Relocated to a new convenient location from the former Hyatt Cerromar Resorts, now at Paseo De Plata Shopping Village, Jose Efron Ave. of Dorado (100 ft. across from Caribbean Cinemas).

History

Established in 2008.

This restaurant was formerly known as the Zen Garden Restaurant, which started operating since January of 1997 inside the Hyatt Cerromar Regency Resorts. Hyatt Cerromar Resorts closed in 2003 but Zen Garden remained operating until the end of 2007. After Hyatt hotels completely left Puerto Rico in 2008, this restaurant finally relocated to a new upscale location within the area under a new business name as the ChopHouse Restaurant.

Well known within the restaurant theme and foodies in Puerto Rico. ChopHouse is one of the most favorite restaurants in Dorado. Like all savvy travellers will say; if comments and advertisements are not convincing, find out what the locals will tell you!

Business Owner

Six years of experience in hotel management, from the New World/​Regency in Hong Kong to the China Hotel in Guangzhou, China. Plus twenty five years in operating fine dinning Asian/​Chinese restaurants, from El San Juan and Inter Continental hotel in Puerto Rico to Maho Beach Hotels in St. Maarten. Then back to Puerto Rico for the Hyatts in 1997. Those years of professional dedications in the service industry is what make his establishments outstanding from the others.
