Overall, a good choice for a hostel in Lisbon.
I enjoyed the prime location right by the arch, fun social events every night, staff with lots of personality, and free made-​to-​order breakfast.
I did not enjoy the average showers, limp pillows, and tons of stairs.

Une auberge de jeunesse NIQUEL sur tous les plans.
Une propreté à toute épreuve, un accueil (essentiellement anglophone) des plus sympathiques, des événements quasi quotidiens pour les gens seuls ou à la recherché de bons plans…
Qui plus est l’auberge est idéalement située et a un charme auquel personne né pourra résister.
Chambres à partager selon le nombre. Les parties communes sont nettoyées deux fois par jour, Wifi dispo & cie…
Comme toute auberge la clientèle est jeune donc il né faudra pas être choqué d’entendre des gens rentrer dans le milieu de la nuit.

Great hostel, within walking distance of many of Lisbon’s sites. The breakfast was very good and much appreciated. Service was excellent. We were with a group of friends and had our own rooms. The bathrooms were clean. Close to the «going out» area of town, but the hostel itself was in a quiet area at night.
If you want a hostel, I’d recommend this place.

This is seriously the BEST hostel I have ever stayed at and I’m sure nothing will compare to the experience I had here. The place is fairly easy to find even while dragging your luggage. The staff are not only friendly, but very knowledgeable and go above and beyond to help with making sure your time in Portugal is the best. There’s a variety of people that stay here and the age mix is all across the board. I especially loved the made-​to-​order hot breakfast option each morning. I also loved the evening events that were prearranged through the hostel. It was a great time to meet with fellow travelers and get a great insight into local hoods and bars. Lastly, what made me really fall in love with this place was the private room we had. It was on the third floor and had a private bathroom. The room was not only very clean, but gorgeous! Well done, Travellers House!

Charleston, SC
Travellers House is an excellent hostel. It is really easy to find on Rua Augusta in the Praça do Comercio. The people that work here are fabulous and you can walk almost to anywhere. There is easy bus access, and they are happy to help you at the desk. They gave me 2 very helpful maps of Lisbon and I met some incredible people.
The aerobus from the airport leaves you about a block from the hostel. It is really safe, and they give you a lock and key. You have a key card to get into your room. They have different events and get together a each night so you can see the city with the people from the hostel. They had a wine night, chorizo night, and a drink from the keg until you’re wasted night. Safe to say it was really fun and definitely worth it. Lisbon is gorgeous, and I’m so glad I stayed at this hostel!

Berlin
Ich war vor einem Jahr in Lissabon und habe dort auch in dem Travellers House gewohnt. Ich muss sagen, dass ich lange nicht mehr in so einem tollen Hostel bzw. Umgebung gewohnt habe. Das Team ist wirklich sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das gesamte Hostel ist liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Wirklich toll. Ich kann das Travellers House wirklich jedem empfehlen. Wer keine Lust hat in einem Mehrbettzimmer zu schlafen, kann sich auch ein Doppelzimmer mieten.

Hamburg
Das Travellers House liegt direkt in der Fußgängerzone Rua Augusta im Herzen Lissabons. Es ist im 1. Stock gelegen, so dass man aus den Zimmerfenster nett auf das Treiben unten schauen kann. Sehr gemütlich eingerichtet mit einem Aufenthaltsraum, in dem es Musik, Brettspiele und Bücher gibt. Daneben gibt es ein Fernsehzimmer und Internet for free. Die Zimmer sind sauber und jeder hat einen eigenen Safe dort. Es gibt auch eine Küche, in der man selber und mit anderen Leuten zusammen kochen kann. Abends bietet das Hostel auch Programm an, wie Pub Crawl, Happy Hour und mehr.
Viele aufgeschlossene nette Leute dort kennen gelernt. Alles in allem mehr als zu empfehlen!
