For my fellow English speaking Unilocalers: go out of your comfort zone and give this place a try. I wish I could do the review in Spanish but maybe this works out because this particular city does have a lot of tourists. Many of the most amazing authentic eateries require walking in alleyways and keeping a commitment to trying something maybe you have never tried before. The place: like many of the restaurants and cafes here there are plenty of outside seating areas on the patio including huge umbrellas in case of weather. There are not many places that have inside seating areas but this place had more than I was used to seeing. The restrooms are very clean and the atmosphere is beautiful. The service: first of all they have free Wi-Fi for they’re customers. The servers are extremely friendly there are only a couple that know a tiny bit of English but they really try to help you understand what you’re ordering. They are prompt with the food and truly give you an authentic experience. The food: all I can say is I look forward to the day I come back here so I can have this again. I started with the vegetable soup and I’ve never had anything like was the perfect temperature, you can tell the ingredients were very fresh, and because it was homemade there is not a lot of salt that you find in pre-prepared soups. I had the privilege of trying clams and mussels and I am completely spoiled now. This is the place to go for fresh caught and wonderfully prepared clams and mussels. I ordered the fish that they are featuring for that day and was super impressed. As you can see from the picture my fish had a bit of breading on it but it was so light that it gave it the perfect amount of texture but did not overpower the fish. I cannot wait to hop back on a plane and come here :-)
