Aterra restaurant is part of the Praia Verde Boutique hotel in the midst of a green forest and one of Portugal’s longest beaches. One of the rare places in Algarve where you can hide from tourist complexes and cheap mega hotels. It’s still reasonably priced, a 5 star establishment competing with EU 3 star prices.
What will really blow you away is the food here. Made from local Aterra ingredients grown around the area, hand picked and harvested, with fresh fish from the market and an über genius chef who has a knack in releasing flavors you didn’t know existed. True, genuine rustic Portuguese cuisine with hand made passion. Not to be missed if you’re in Algarve. Actually there is no other reason to be in Algarve.
