Ponto Final

Wonderful location, not too crowded and did not feel as touristy as expected. The food is not spectacular but good. The staff was friendly and unobtrusive which was very pleasant. Would always recommend going there.

I don’t know about the food because… we left before eating! Ok, the view is awesome, but the waiters were so unpleasant that we decided not to stay. Instead, we went to the restaurant next door (Atira-​te ao Rio), and it was perfect!

I should start by saying that the waiter we got was a bit worse than terrible. For example, we ordered 2 bottles of wine and then 15 mins later he came by to ask us if we wanted drinks. We said we ordered them. His response … From my colleague? Umm no. From you. It was like this all night. He forgot entrees, brought the wrong apps etc. As for the food it was just ok. The cod fritters were quite chewy. Not a great texture for fish. The accompanying rice was good though. Our friend has the vegetarian dish with tomato rice. Average as well. We also had the pork and mixed salads which were nothing to write home about. The view is beautiful though. You really do get a great view of the city from the patio.

This place was a real find! We didn’t believe at first that there is really a restaurant at the end of the dark pathway late night next to the fishermen, but there was. This lovely ambience is amazing for dinner dates. The bridge in the background all shiny and the river at your feet. This small restaurant offers great fish dishes and good wine. Definitely worth the ride over the river with a ferry.

We came here first as it is highly recommended by hotel receptionist. I do agree the view of the restaurant is fabulous, but we are very disappointed by their food menu and the receptionist said we can try the famous seafood stew here, but the menu does not have it at all. The price of some of the dishes looks like a tourist trap, and they gave us three starters that we did not order as well, which will charge at the end. So we decide to leave to try sth else.
At the end, I found the restaurant next door has more interesting menu and much warmer service.
So, this one is good for the view, but I just not sure this is as good as what we expected.

Terrasse très agréable jaune pepsy de l’autre côté du Tage, face à la ville, avec vue superbe à 180 degrés du pont du 25 avril au panthéon.
On y accède en remontant les quais à droite en sortant de l’embarcadère. Seule balade un peu sympa de ce côté une fois la visite galion fait. C’est aussi sur le chemin de la statut du Cristo Rei.
Petite plage en bas du quai.
Pour la qualité des plats, on a pris un coca et un café.

Abseits von allem Trubel, ziemlich versteckt liegt das kleine Restaurant Ponto Final am anderen Tejo Ufer. Wer es findet, kann insbesondere am frühen Abend eine traumhafte Sonnenuntergangsstimmung über Lissabon erleben.
Um hierher zu kommen, nimmt man am besten die Fähre vom Cais de Sodre nach Cacilhas.

Dort angekommen hält man sich gleich rechts am Ufer entlang. Vorbei an den Fischrestaurants und an alten, ziemlich verfallenen Lagerschuppen. Auf den ersten Blick nicht gerade eine einladende Gegend.

Wenn man aber so 10 Minuten weiter geht, sieht man die weiß getünchte Wand des Ponto Final. Ein paar Tische am Kai laden zum Verweilen ein.

Im Inneren mach das kleine Lokal einen gepflegten und gemütlichen Eindruck. Gegessen haben wir hier allerdings noch nicht. Vielleicht beim nächsten Mal.

Auf jeden Fall aber ein schöner Ort für magische Momente.

Der spektakulärste Ort für ein romantisches Essen. Geiler Blick auf Lissabon bei guten Essen (unbedingt Oktopussalat probieren) bei normalen Preisen! Ein Muss für Lissabon-​Fans

Fantastische Lage, um auf dem Steg, am letzten Tisch, bei Sonnenuntergang einen Heiratsantrag zu machen. Aber auch essen kann man hier fantastisch. Von der Fähre aus gleich unten am Pier entlang laufen und nicht umdrehen, auch wenn 10 Minuten lang nur verlassene Anlagen folgen. Der Spaziergang ist meist einsam und wird mit tollem Essen und herzlicher Gastfreundschaft belohnt. Reservieren könnte nötig sein, denn es gibt nur wenige Tische drinnen. Und nach dem Liebesschwur draußen wird es schnell kalt

Faire un tour de l’autre côté du Tage est vraiment un truc à faire si vous restez plus de deux jours à Lisbonne, et aller au Ponto Final est vraiment un truc à faire si vous faites un tour de l’autre côté du Tage!
Prenez le ferry à Cais do Sodré, descendez à Cacilhas et longez le joli quai miteux et désert, vous trouverez l’élégante terrasse qui s’avance sur l’estuaire, offrant une vue magnifique sur Lisbonne et le pont du 25 avril.
Là si tout va bien, vous vous asseyez et on vous apporte sans que vous n’ayez rien demandé quatre ou cinq tapas, bref vous en avez pour 15 euros (à deux) sans avoir encore rien commandé. Gros dilemme, et puis tant pis, on mangera leurs tapas et on prendra pas de plat. C’est assez rare à Lisbonne d’être poussé à la consommation (à part pour le pain, et le fromage et le beurre parfois) et c’est assez désagréable mais comme on a rien pris de plus. Et je pense aussi qu’ils auraient retiré les tapas de la table si on le leur avait demandé. En tout cas, la nourriture était divine, et j’aurais sans doute pas pris cette salade de porc s’ils né l’avaient pas posé sur la table. Damn.
Pour une fois, voilà un resto portugais qui assaisonne vraiment ses plats (contrairement à la plupart de restos barbecue-​style quoi tu vois) et pour le paysage on né fait pas mieux! En plus c’est joli joli dedans. Alors on oublie la petite déconvenue et on prend vite une petite Super Bock!
