Best small single runway airport I’ve seen! Looks brand new the building is beautiful! The roof was designed as if it had wings flapping and was in flight like a bird. Spotless! Even had an executive club lounge. Security was easy! Everyone was friendly. These folks know how to board a plane. Very efficient.

Small, but clean and efficient. You can hear a pin drop in this place on a Tuesday afternoon. A selection of shops are available for taking your money, and the Kantor here should be avoided. Change your money elsewhere for better exchange rates. Kiss and fly zone allows 10 minutes wait time for picking up and dropping off. Security is not as strict as in the US, but still expect a pat-​down if you set off the metal detector. Duty free shops upstairs allow travelers access to discounted items… but I can’t imagine anyone is making any more here — there are so few travelers. Maybe it’s busier on the weekends? Be prepared to take a shuttle bus to the plane out on the tarmac.

Der Flughafen von Breslau empfängt seit der Fußball-​EM von 2012 mit einem neuen und großzügigen Terminalgebäude. In der oberen Abflugebene befinden sich die üblichen Cafés und Duty-​Free-​Läden, letztere mit einer guten Wodkaauswahl. Einige Start– bzw. Landepositionen sind nur per Bus erreichbar. Wenn man aus dem Terminal rauskommt, befindet sich rechterhand die Haltestelle für den 406er Bus, der wochentags im 20-​Minuten-​Takt fährt und mit dem man in ca. 30 Minuten bis in die Innenstadt kommt. Endstation ist der Hauptbahnhof, wer also in der Altstadt wohnt, sollte zwei Stationen vorher an der Haltestelle plac Ornat Lwoskich aussteigen. Von dort erreicht man in ca. 10 Minuten den Rynek zu Fuß. Tickets gibt es am Automaten neben der Haltebox. Preis Juli 2014 3 Zloty. Geld sollte man am Flughafen nur sehr wenig umtauschen, weil der Kurs ca. 10 bis 15% unter dem liegt, den man in der Innenstadt bekommt. Die Kosten für die Taxifahrt in die Innenstadt sollen bei rund 50 Zloty liegen.

Der neue Flughafen ist toll, nicht mehr mit dem alten vergleichbar.
Moderne Architektur, Licht durchflutet, geringe Wartezeiten, alles großzügig ausgelegt, sehr schöné Businesslounge.
Die Läden sind jetzt alle Edel und chick aber eben immer noch typische Duty-​Free Angebote.
Leider hatte ich bisher immer nur Außenpositionen und die Busfahrten zum Flugzeug nerven.

Nice and spacious Airport. Nothing more to say. Has got everything which is needed. Bus no. 406 takes you to the city center (after 15 – 20 min journey) and train station (after 25 – 30 min journey). Tickets available in the ticket machine paid by cash/​car or in the bus paid by card.
