Silk and Spicy is one of those restaurants that can satisfy a craving. We have been twice to this place and the experience has been very positive. Food: flavorful, tasty, visually pleasant. The menu is diverse and offers from Japanese sushi, toThai food and some Vietnamese dishes(summer rolls). Nevertheless we have never made a wrong choice in the menu. Recommendations: misoshiru soup with salmon, grilled chicken teppanyaki and summer rolls with shrimp. Sweet and sour soup is quite tasty too. Service: it’s ok, nothing extraordinary but friendly. Expect to wait 10 – 20 min for your food depending on what you ordered. Nevertheless if you are not in a hurry is a perfect wait to sip a glass of wine and enjoy some Edamames and complementary coleslaw. Happy to be back anytime!

Totally style over substance. I am sure there are better places to have Thai food or sushi then here

I really like the food. I’ve had many of their sushis and some of their hot Thai dishes. It may sound odd, but I really love their Silk and Spicy roll, which has chicken not fish. However, the fish is always fresh and delicious. I can’t comment on the beer since I always get plum or lychee wine. Personally I prefer the plum wine… But I wouldn’t cancel out the lychee. I think it is simply an acquired taste. Furthermore, it has a phenomenal location — tucked away on a nice quiet street in centrum. So, why three stars? It is too expensive for my Polish salary. If I lived on a US salary, I wouldn’t mind. Secondly, the service is only okay. They are helpful… But by no means is it extraordinary helpful. The have off days and on days. Unfortunately for them the last time I went there, it was an off day. They messed up with our sushi order and they took 20 minutes to get us the check. I would highly recommend this place for entertaining business partners or clients. If you are not worried about the price of the bill and you have no place to be later on, go and enjoy yourself!

We popped in for a quick meal and a glass of wine. The makis was really good and the thai spiced salad was proper spicy. Would love to come back and enjoy my meal with a little more time than what we had this time. Big pluss for good wine in wine list.
