OMG so delicious! For warsaw its quite pricey but the food is out of this world. Best calamari I have ever had… stuffed with cheese and covered with garlic butter. Everything looked delicious and I will definetly go back for more. This restaurant is best for their meats apparently… so I have to get on that

Excellent service. English menus available at request. More importantly the food was excellent. Well cooked meat, plenty of sauces, and fresh bread. It is a little expensive, but you get your money’s worth.

I happened to walk in off the street for a lunch at this place with no preconceived idea about what to expect, and it was really a series of pleasant surprises. First of all the staff were extremely friendly. I was the only person in the restaurant, so they were focused on me, but they smiled a lot and checked back to see how I liked the food and even asked if I needed more Pepsi — which NEVER happens in Poland. I’ve had to chase down waitresses to get more cola. I ordered grilled Camembert — completely vegetarian with grilled vegetables and a salad. I noticed that there were a lot of vegetarian options here, as leaves were used to indicate on the menu which dishes were herbivore friendly. Ok so grilled cheese with grilled vegetables — 29PLN — a bit steep for bunny food(i’m a meat eater so this isn’t my usual thing), but it was delicious. It came with a pineapple/tomato sauce that went great with the cheese. The vegetables were grilled in olive oil with garlic and had a nice charcoal — made on a real grill with real fire — flavor. In the end the cheese oozed all over the vegetables and was offset nicely by the pineapple sauce. Still want to try a meat dish here one day. There was also a lunch option for 18PLN. Prior to receiving my lunch, and to my instant delight, they brought me bread and a paste as a free starter. The bread was literally fresh baked. It was soft, pliant, crusty and steaming. I don’t like Polish bread. I know it’s a crime, but I find it too dense and usually there are seeds all over it, which makes me feel like a bird. This bread was flaky, seedless, and wonderful. The paste was probably made from red peppers, eggplant and garlic(among other things), and it was nice too, but I could have eaten the bread all by itself. The restaurant’s atmosphere/décor also highlights the Balkan ethnicity of the menu’s offering. Next to where I was sitting there was a traditional dress displayed on the wall. There are window seats(benches) that run around the perimeter of the place, piled with pillows. The walls are painted with different strong accent colors. It ‘s modern and tasteful. It’s a small place though, very intimate — not for big parties.
