It used to be a really good place to eat. Even without a thick wallet you could get a really good value breakfast. For some reason in last 2 years there was a steady decline. Portions got smaller, food has lost its quality and staff is actually really ignorant. Despite really nice climate of the place I’m not going to show up there any time soon.

Be ware and have cash available to pay unless you have a visa credit card. They do not accept master card. Benefits: — generally decent service — usually good food. Drawbacks: — don’t serve water. — don’t accept master card Some Meals tried: — argentine steak. Delicious. — minestrone soup. Not great — french fries. Good — ribs. Very good in honey. Ok with BBQ

An American themed restaurant. I’ve been here a couple of times. Each time there was a little confusion over ordering. First time I went there for a cider and cake. They didn’t tell me what it was buy one get one free on cider, so I «had» to drink two of them. Luckily I had a massive piece of cake soaked up the alcohol. More recently I went there for breakfast. I was feeling hungry and feeling important so I ordered the Executive Breakfast(with comes with a choice of eggs done in one of three ways). I opted for Eggs Benedict. Ok, so the waitress was quite tall and pretty with long legs, but her English wasn’t so hot. Anyway, another waitress(whose legs weren’t quite so much of a distraction) delivered Eggs Benedict(the non-executive). Luckily my girlfriend was on hand(her legs were completely covered and not a distraction at all) who enquired whether I had accidentally ordered two breakfasts. Anyway, the Eggs Benedict were nice(served with bacon and tomato, and a couple of pieces of fruit). To be honest it all worked out quite nicely, an Executive Breakfast would probably been too much for me to eat. Waitress number two presented the bill with a nicely decorated receipt, an obvious ploy to get a big tip. Obvious, but appreciated anyway :)

I haven’t been to Jeff’s for a number of years. Decided to give it a try tonight after watching a film at Cinema City. Seems to me that both the quality of the food and the service have improved. I ordered the night’s dinner special: the Black Angus steak. I asked for medium rare and the meat showed up medium well. The last time the same request yielded something cooked to a crisp. The portion was quite generous. While the steak wasn’t as good as what you can get at say Pimento, it was entirely decent. Prices are somewhat on the high side. Then again, after blowing 20 zł on popcorn and a coke, 40 zł for a steak didn’t seem too unreasonable.
