Super hot August here in Poland, so the best seating is outdoor seating. The well-insulated indoor seating(sans AC) are sweltering! So even though we found a few spots in the Main Square area that we had book-marked to try, the outdoor seating was full. Hungry, we saw this spot with one final outdoor table. It did not disappoint. My son ate two plates of the pierogis.(He finished mine, as delicious as they were, they were filling.) However, I demolished the Greek salad! It was so delicious. The cheese topping is indescribable. Was it a soft feta? A perfected cream cheese crafted to crumb perfectly on a salad? The fresh lettuce, generous tomatoes and large slices of crisp cucumbers were so nicely complimented by the vinaigrette dressing: a creamy, tasty dressing unlike anything I had previously tasted. My fiancé ordered kielbasa, and it was the best I’d had.(First kielbasa in Poland, so I am only comparing to America, mind you). It was extremely flavorful and didn’t have that processed«hotdog» taste. Overall, we were glad to have ended up here. Wine and my son’s OJ were served warm. But hey, I think the heat wave is causing some energy issues. Service seemed a bit on «island time,» but I’m noticing that’s normal for Poland. If you find yourself here, pop in! It’s quite good!!!

A small place which was quicly full of clients… I was advised by an inhabitant of Krakow because Pierogi are excellent. I confirm it. We tried potatoes/bacon and sauerkraut/mushrooms pierogi. God, we were full ! :) Couln’t resist from ending dinner with cherry pierogi. Staff is really nice but could be more comfortable with english. Really closed to Rynek Główny(center of the city).

I got what I asked for! A great kielbasa topped with fried onions and served with ketchup and mustard.

This small, authentic polish restaurant was wonderful! Be sure to get the soup before your pierogis. The chef was such a kind woman and has been working there it 26+ years. Also, get their beer! Perfect with all the food you’ll be getting!
