I was wandering around the Old Town in search of a meal that isn’t a burger when I stumbled into this little place on Tomasza. The interior looks nice but I couldn’t quite figure out what food it serves. The sign read «Chilli & Curry On” – whatever the hell that means. I like chorizo so I decided to give it a try.
The items available were written on a blackboard behind the counter. I opted for the Talerz z chorizo. It consisted of a patty made from chorizo sausage, potatoes, grilled eggplants and zucchini, and tomato salad. It came with several pieces of focaccia and two kinds of yogurt sauce. The dish wasn’t anything fancy but it was well made. It seemed to be just what my body was craving on a warm summer day. The bread in particular I liked a lot.
For a place in the Old Town, Chorizo is surprisingly affordable. I paid 23 zł for the talerz. The other items have prices in the teens. I’m definitely coming back again.
