This is a ‘milk bar,’ in a non-touristy part of town. I ordered surówki(pickled cabbage) and a soup of rice and dill, both delicious. My husband had gołąbki(meat wrapped in crabbage) and naleśniki(fruit-filled crepes), which he liked. Remember: it’s a milk bar, so it’s not fancy, there’s no English, they don’t take credit, and sometimes people have to share tables. But the food quality, value, and experience are more than worth it, in my opinion.(If you don’t want to eat there, bring tupperware, and they’ll fill it up for you to take home or on a picnic.)
