I almost gave up looking for western restaurant in Wellington that taste really great until I stumbled upon The Larder sirloin steak. Oh yumm. I have not tried any other food on the menu since every time I go there, my taste buds just screams for it, so I just got to have it again and again and it hasn’t yet disappoint me. The place is a bit small and it can get pretty crowded during lunch time, but it won’t matter because the food and service is always great there.

While becoming quite the connoisseur of Wellington brunch eateries it’s becoming increasing easy to separate the wheat from the chaff and an unplanned trip to The Larder provided a taste of the wheatiest wheat. A delicious croque madam made a mouthwateringly memorable visit, complimented by the unique décor featuring photographs of the suppliers of the produce we were consuming. A must visit!

Amazing for takeaway or a quick bite but dinning in can be slow and expensive. The sausage rolls are to die for and are by far my favorite in wellington. There Sammie’s for takeaway are also top notch. There made of fresh ingredients and and if they don’t have one of your choosing there more than willing to accommodate you by making one from a list. Overall a great experience, I’ve just had better in this price range when dining in.
