Lovely place! Scored myself a scrumptious black Thornton Hall jacket here today for 35.00! Thankyou to the staff who were friendly and genuine, not pretentious and not rude — human! The range of clothes were still in decent shape despite being second hand, and at reasonable prices still. I will be back!

This store has a cute, vintage image to it with a tumblr/pinterest style– they sell witty cards(like a card with a penguin drawing on it saying«i’m a little blue without you»), very cute sunglasses, nifty books and journals(my favorites are the bucket list, do sh*t, and the notebook range from FRANK.) some room decorations(similar to typo) such as golden print posters, childrens clothing, a small skincare selection, gem jewelry and other accessories, and a small range of well picked vintage clothing and some other very cute«bits and bobs”/items The only downsides to this store is: — the prices are slightly high($ 30 for sunglasses, etc.) — there are so many cute/nifty items it makes it hard to pick the ones you really want to buy!

This store is my go to «gift shopping» store — the only problem is I always leave buying something for myself — which isn’t really a problem at all! — Cute vintage dresses, bags, shoes — Handcrafted journals, jewelry and cards — Delicious teas! Plus the girls behind the counter are so cutie cool, and always offer an opinion on outfits or gift ideas.

Bread and Butter Letter is of the ‘cute, quirky, vintage, sun dresses, florals, pastels, macarons, hand-made, brown paper and twine’ ilk. If you’re into iced tea and striped paper straws and drinking out of glass jars and giving beautiful little hand made gift cards, you’ll be frothing at this place. There’s a small range of vintage clothing, as well as a lot of giftware and homeware — candles, cheap on trend sunglasses, cups, notebooks, kitchy jewellery and cute little crafty bits and bobs. There’s something very sweet about the place. The owners are lovely, the service is great, it’s like tumblr IRL.

Everything in this store is scrumptious. You know the kind of stuff that you could just eat up. These girls know what’s good out there and now they’ve got it for us to buy. There’s everything from clothes, to candles, to sunnies, and little knick-knacks that you probably don’t need, but must have. It’s the perfect place to go if you’re trying to buy a present for someone who has everything. My favourite product they stock is the ceramic crinkle cups. They’re so cute and everyone who sees them thinks they’re so awesome. Having just moved from their old store the Bread and Butter Letter is looking seriously suave. I love the new branding and the light boxes out the outside of the store. Best thing about the new place is that you can now buy a cup tea there too. Love it.

I think I’ve got a new favourite shop. I’m such a sucker for anything cute, kitsch and quirky and that’s exactly what this shop is. Brand new to K Road, this store embodies everything I love about the area. I think their selection of necklaces is actually even nicer than the similar ones in Monster Threads just down the road, and I looove those! It’s clear the owners of this store really think about what they’re selling and who they’re trying to sell it to. This is only a tiny little store but everything in here is covetable, from the tea sets to books to the array of vintage-inspired sunnies and dresses. It’s out of the ordinary, beautiful clothing, jewellery and homewares. I’ve got my eye on a necklace and the super-cute stick-on animal wall decorations.

Whether you’re looking to become a hipster, or want a unique, special birthday gift to give to your crochet-loving friend, this is the place you’d love to rock up too. Recently moved to the hub of arty shops, K’Rd, it’s in perfect walking distance from all those other places with similar old school vibes. Whether it’s a pom pom flower or a sweet, swinging sixties dress, it’s waiting for you at the Bread and Butter Letter.
