History

Established in 1991.

Amtrax develops leading-​edge web based programs, specialising in: Booking systems, CRM systems, Membership & Subscription databases, Auction Sites, Quoting systems, dynamic websites, and more, with clients throughout New Zealand and overseas.

We have a 15-​year history as specialists in custom development using Microsoft standard platforms such as .Net, VB, SQL & Access and open source technologies/​framework such as Java, Spring, Hibernate etc. Using the very latest versions and extensive use of Rapid Application Development (RAD) tools such as Ironspeed, we are able to offer very cost effective solutions.

We are also authorised providers of Intersoft’s «finPOWER Connect» & «emPOWER» loan finance software, hire purchase and accounting software for the Finance and Lending sectors. finPOWER Connect is now the industry standard for the lending sector.

Is the driving force behind Amtrax.

Jon has wide-​ranging experience in senior management positions within private sector. His skills in interpreting customers’ requirements are invaluable in the process of creating successful software solutions. Often, after careful analysis of the client’s business, Jon knows better than the clients themselves what is required. His Masters degree in International Business Administration has proved valuable in dealing with offshore clients. As head of Amtrax, a New Zealand-​based software design and development company, for the past 10 years, Jon has intimate knowledge of the technology sector coupled with the proven ability to operate and grow a successful tech-​based company.
