This restaurant has been around for ages and it still draws in the crowds, day and night. If you’ve ever eaten here you will know why, the food is amazing and the
atmosphere is laid back. Totally suitable to the laid back Westie lifestyle.
We booked in recently for a family get-​together and everyone from grandma to the five year old loved the experience. Surf and turf menu with plenty of kiddy meals to keep the littlies happy. The steaks are really great, the majority in our group placed such an order.
I like the fire pit in the waiting area with the comfy couches, a nice place to have a drink if you are still waiting on your table.

There is a commercial in the UK for Ronseal — saying that it does ‘exactly what it says on the tin’. Tonys is a bit like that, it does traditional fare and it does it well. We came here with my in laws one night and when I walked in, I thought the décor was old school to say the least. However, the staff were so friendly that I felt right at home and could overlook the dodgy décor. They specialise in steak and seafood and they do them very well. I asked for a medium rare steak with blue cheese and that’s exactly what I got. My father in law got a fish and chips which he was happy with — he’s a bit of expert on good fish and chips. They cooked a veggie pasta for my wife — this wasn’t on the menu but we rang them beforehand and they were fine about it. Tonys: It does exactly what it says on the tin!
