Slice of Elegance

Once again, Pukekohe is blessed by the addition of another top notch business. I don’t normally gravitate to sweet food but I have to make an exception for the offerings at Slice of Elegance. And ohhh, what offerings they are! There is an amazing range of slices — big chunky squares of delectable deliciousness! MMMMmmmm. They also do cupcakes and wedding /​birthday cakes etc made and decorated to order — you name it they’ll do it. I have also bought food from here to cater for a business lunch and it was all prepared in-​store and packed up for me. They make sandwiches and savouries as well but it appears that their main specialty is cakes and slices. They also sell coffee and juices and, although this is not your standard café, you can sit outside at a sidewalk table and devour your purchase.
Slice of Elegance is run by a woman called Chloe who seems to run a pretty tight ship, and all the food is apparently cooked in the tiny kitchen at the rear of the shop.
Top marks for THE best cake shop in town, by a country mile.
