Rocket Print

Before I finished my Graphic Design degree, I had to complete an exhibition that was really important to display my work and gain contacts from possible employers. As usual I was running a little behind schedule to print the final part of my exhibition. Two days before it was due I decided to try Rocket Print for this final part. It wasn’t a huge amount of printing just 15 postcard sized designs onto heavy card stock so I assumed it could be done in a few hours. In short I was extremely disappointed with the service I received here. I was told the job would be done very quickly so I may as well just hang around the Newmarket area. After about two hours I went back only to find my job wasn’t completed and they said they were having ‘issues’ with their printer and to come back in half an hour. I did this and again my printing wasn’t finished. I was told that they should definitely be done by the next day and I would receive a call, it was now getting very close to my due date! When they were finally ready to be picked up the next day I received the bill and it was something like $ 70 for the few pages. I disputed this price and they realised they had made a ‘mistake’, if I hadn’t said anything they would have happily taken that much money from me. In the end it came to around $ 50 and the printing was really nice quality but I didn’t enjoy being mucked around and being taken for a fool if they believed I would accept their original bill, not happy!
