History

Established in 2006.

Impact PR was established in 2006 by Mark Devlin and Fleur Revell.

Mark’s background was originally in market research before joining TVNZ to work first for TV ONE providing input into programming decisions based on analysis of viewer preferences and then later into the company’s strategy Business Improvement Programme — an initiative set up to help the broadcaster transition from analogue into digital media. In his spare time, Mark set up an FMCG manufacturing and distribution business supplying supermarkets and service stations with health food products.

Mark grew the wholesale/​retail business for seven years before selling it. Fleur has a unique background as journalist with 20 years experience.

Fleur has won numerous awards as a newspaper reporter, magazine editor, TV news presenter and News Producer as well as host of her prime time show ‘Revell with a Cause’.

Impact PR is the combination of both Fleur and Mark’s experience and continues to help client brands grow every day.

Fleur Revell is a seasoned journalist and PR consultant with more than two decades of experiences helping clients grow their brands in the New Zealand market.

Fleur leverages her experience as a journalist and broadcaster in some of the countries most read and viewed newspapers, magazines and television news programmes to convert the commercial messages of clients into newsworthy angles for target media.

As an Auckland Media Trainer, Fleur has a first hand knowledge of how journalists think and uses the ability to educate clients into the providing the most appropriate responses to media questions.

Fleur’s strategic advice in developing marketing strategies has helped many consumer, business to business and technology brands better reach their New Zealand customers.

As a respected PR consultant, Fleur is regularly called on by news media to comment on marketing and brand stories which appear in the news.
