I had to frequent laundromats for a while when our dog was a puppy and decided her favourite place to go toilet were people’s bedspreads. Needing a big washing machine, the laundromat was our only option. chatters in Glen Eden is just like any other laundromat, with huge washing machines and massive tumble dryers. And for $ 6.50 a wash, what more could you ask for. Just bring your own laundry powder. Washes take about 40 minutes from memory, and you can either stick around or eave it there and come back when it’s done. The dryers work great and they’re only $ 1 — $ 1.50 per ten minutes.

There is no way you’d fit a duvet into a domestic washing machine, that’s where you local Laundromat comes in.
Glen Eden has a couple, I recently visited Chatters Laundromat in Glenmall Place shops and armed with my own laundry powder it ended up only being $ 6.50 for the wash. Easy as, just pop in the duvet — or whatever large item it is you need to gently launder — get a little help from the friendly assistant as to what cycle is the best one to go with and return for pick up an hour or so later. I didn’t use their dryers, they have plenty, because it’s air drying weather however this is definitely an option.
