Sub par and under expectations. As welcoming and beautiful the ambience is the coffee is just as much disappointing — very weak despite asking for a double shot — don’t know if they put a double shot of milk! My wife ordered an American and it wasn’t any better. We ordered a gluten free (just like that) mango and passion fruit cake, again tasted more coconut than mango and passion fruit. The Mrs ordered a date scone, this was great but too large to finish. The café is managed by Sierra and if my earlier experience at a Sierra branded café is anything to go by, the café experience itself still leaves a lot to be desired in terms of the quality and consistency of food delivered. Try Columbus next door at mitre 10, may not be as good an ambience but kicks ass when it comes to coffee and café food in the vicinity.
