A pretty decent bar located on the Lincoln Road in Henderson. It offers quite a few amenities such as pool tables and there’s an outside area with barbeque heaters where you can smoke. I came here once or twice for the table quiz and didn’t do well so haven’t been back — Wednesday night is quiz night. The food here is pretty good and the prices are quite reasonable — entrees are about $ 8 and mains are around $ 15. You can get pizzas for about $ 15 – 18 which is good value as they are fairly big. The bar itself is fairly lively on the weekends with a Westie crowd. Where I come from in Dublin, there’s about a dozen bars in the neighbourhood — when you live in Te Atatu this is about your only option. I don’t tend to frequent it that much but if a friend wanted to meet up for a few beers, I would be happy to take him to this place.
