Mitre 10 is and always will be a great one-​stop shop for all your DIY needs but the last time I was in there the service was terrible! There were plenty of staff working but they seemed to be doing their best to avoid all the customers. Once we did track one down they seemed to be actively trying to not sell us anything. We were clearly power tool rookie and once we finally decided on which power tool we wanted he neglected to tell us they you needed to buy the heads for the tool separately!
Such a bummer, they used to have great service… off to Bunnings we go!

The thing I really rate Mitre 10 on is that there is always a friendly staff member nearby to tell me where to find what I am looking for. Most of their stores have a bouncy castle for the kids either inside or out and they have those cute little bright orange shopping trolleys for the preschool crowd. Their garden centre is massive and the café is great. Their prices are on par with Bunnings, if not cheaper.

This is a massive Mitre 10 Mega shop, so it offers an amazing range of products and services. It has a bit of an awkward entrance at the moment, though I think this might be temporary becouse it is undergoing construction or something like that.
At this mega store you can get absolutely everything that you need for your home. If you are wanting to build, repair, restore or create something for the home or even garden then you can get everything you need here. And becouse this store is fairly new it means that their product range is very current, and that they are offering the newest of everything that Mitre 10 has available.
The staff are very friendly and efficient, they will let you be on your way but are always on your case to see if you are all sorted for what you came in for, not in a pushy way though which is nice.
