Sfeer, meaning atmosphere in Dutch, was recently taken over by some new owners. They replaced the old, nearly broken down, exfoliated chairs and tables with new, trendy ones. Unfortunately those half wood, half paint chairs were Sfeer to me. It said«we don’t care about looks, we serve good food and we want you to be happy». But I can’t linger in the past. They still serve very good lunch meals. Their soups and grilled cheese are priced fairly, but the sandwiches, although very tasty, simply cost too much. Yet it’s still a great place to enjoy a good espresso in the sun. Every proper coffee shop serves some water with their espresso, and so does Sfeer. Classic. The seed I found in my orange juice, only speaks for its freshness. So overall: high quality food, but disproportional prices. Recommendation: the Italian ‘bol’ with salmon.
