A gem hidden within the walls of Heusden. I am impressed with the overall quality of the restaurants, cafés and shops available in this small town, they always great you with a smile and are eager to help you out with any questions. This restaurant was no exception. As you can see from my pictures the presentation of the dishes is very good and the taste when taking that first bite is equally good. As a starter I got a winter salad, which might not sound that exciting but ended up being the highlight that evening. I am not saying the main course(haddock) was bad, in fact it was great as well, but the starter really did it. The restaurant seem to have a focus on fish which suits me just fine and they recommend good wines to go with it. The menu is entirely in Dutch though, but the staff will help you out with that(after getting over the initial language barrier. ;)) so I can’t really let that affect my judgement. Try it out!
