Great local place!!! Not on any recommended place-don’t know why!!! Beer is great and drought beers are awesome!!! We decided on the fondue, servers recommendation. It was really great. But, when we added the special local sauces, red pepper, garlic, chili oil, WOW!!! Knocked it out of the park!!! Great place must visit if your looking for a local ace and atmosphere, eat upstairs.

Our ‘go to’ restaurant in Haarlem. We always bring our visitors. Food is tasty. I always get the fish dish — and being a very picky fish eater that says something! It is always fresh and a good sized portion, served usually with salad and French fries. My husband is a fan of the lamb and the sate without sticks! There is a daily 6 euro special that is usually a pasta dish, nothing fancy but good portion and SIXEURO!!! There is always a daily special which more often than not seems to be a good dela and sound rather appetizing. For those who love beer, of course it is Belgian beer… very good, and can be quite strong! The Irish Coffees are absolutely amazing. The only drawback… the wine. Sure, it is cheap… but I would rather pay more and drink something more palatable. It really is not good… even after a few glasses — it does not improve. Restaurant can be quite noisy, and be prepared for steeper than normal stairs if sitting upstairs. For guests we try to make reservation for ground level. Nice people. Enjoy!

Great place in Haarlem. Exceptional selection of beers and ok food… bar food. But for the beer selection. you won’t be disappointed. In the heart of the city, kind of hidden. Lovely neighborhood. People are very nice and very nice hospitality. Of course English is spoken and they do really appreciate if you speak a bit of Dutch :) Menu is mostly in Dutch.
