Eine Restaurant. Grand Café… zu jeder Tageszeit und Jahreszeit sitzen die Menschen draußen unter der Markise. mit oder ohne Strahler und genießen Drinks und Happjes. Gesellig, gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis…super Frühstück!

Ordered a sandwich filet American. Should be easy enough to make but somehow they were able to make the filet taste like a mixture of mayonaise with pickles with just a hint of filet. After the renovation the old interior has been changed to something that resembles the inside of a cheap club. Would give it only one star if not for the waitress. The second star is for her: she was fast, friendly, and sincere in her concern when we told her we did not like the sandwiches.

This is a very cool building indeed. By the outside looks of it, it doesn’t do much for me, except a large outside dining area with heaters that will do the trick on a cold and rainy day. On the inside however this building is OF THE HOOK. It really blows my mind. This is an old building that has multiple dining areas, one cooler than the other (fire places running, I mean, yes please!). Reasonable prices and ok service (would not say wow, but ok). What gives this place only 3 stars is the lack of respect for my food allergies. It took two reminders and 45 minuters before I learned if my food contained, the for me, poisones parsley, and even then the answer was hard to make use of (the chef says it is not parsley in it but it still can be little pieces in it (?)). However the wine was good, the sun shining and the little snackplate healty and fresh. All and all: at least pay it a visit for interior.

Super friendly and accommodating staff and a great location. The food I’ve had is awesome — both kinds of satay, the frites, and especially the potatoes with shallots — def order those on the side, they’re salty, flavory goodness. Klosterbrot sounds nice but it’s kind of boring and plain. Otherwise, everything is pretty good and I’ve always had excellent service.

Hard to judge food quality since I ordered the «dutch» meal which I’m guessing anyone that is Dutch probably doesn’t actually order here. It was good but a bit starchy for my tastes with a cheese sandwich, potato salad, and a croquette sandwich. Not sure whether it gives away a foreigner but dipping the cheese sandwich in the tomato soup was good. Great place to watch people walk by in the plein in front. And there’s an awning over the outside seating if it’s either drizzly or you want to duck out from the sun. Bumped up a star for location, accommodation, and friendly service.
Also Unilocal says its closed today (sunday) but it was open. Not sure if it might have anything to do with father’s day or day after Flag Day.

A great place for breakfast or lunch. The possibility to sit outside during winter time is very positive.
Staff is usually friendly and food quality is quite good. Their coffee is outstanding!

Das ‘t Goude Hooft ist ein uriges Restaurant, in zentraler Lage in Den Haags. Nachdem wir mit dem Fahrrad ein wenig die Innenstadt von Den Haag erkundet hatten, haben wir uns entschieden hier etwas zum Mittag zu essen. Ich hab mich für den «Broodje Hamburger» entschieden. Der Burger war neben dem üblichem Hackfleisch mit Bacon, Zwiebeln und als Besonderheit, mit einem Spiegelei belegt. Das «Brötchen» war ein Scheibe getoastetes Brot. Auch wenn das erstmal komisch klingt, war der Burger doch echt lecker! Ich würde ihn mir beim nächsten Besuch sicher nochmal bestellen. Als Beilage zum Burger bestellte ich mir Pommes die auch gut geschmeckt haben.
Preislich ist das Restaurant ok, etwas gehoben, aber die Speisen schauten soweit alle gut aus.
Der Besuch im t’ Goude Hooft war echt schön, einzig der Service war etwas langsam.

Mitten im Zentrum gelegenes Restaurant mit Möglichkeit im Freien zu sitzen. Das Essen war sehr lecker u die Portionen groß. Ohne Vorspeise hätten wir die Hauptspeise aufessen können.
Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und bemüht.
