Ich besuchte zum ersten Mal überhaupt eine Marks & Spencer Filiale. Die britische Kette bietet auf zwei Etagen Kleidung für Herren, Damen und Kids, außerdem einen großen Supermarkt mit britischen Lebensmitteln.
Ich muss gestehen das mir die dort angeboten Kleidungsstücke überhaupt nicht zusagten. Es gab vom Shirt über die Jeans bis zum Anzug so ziemlich alles, der Style und die überwiegend dunklen Farben entsprachen aber einfach nicht meinem Geschmack. Die Preise fand ich durchschnittlich.
Etwas besser hat mir da schon der große Supermarkt gefallen. Es werden überwiegend britische Lebensmittel angeboten. Das typische Supermarkt Programm halt.
Leckere Pralinen und richtig guten Tee nahm ich mit.
Die Preise sind z.T. schon echt ziemlich hoch. Wenn die Qualität allerdings stimmt zahle ich auch gern ein wenig mehr.
Für Kleidung würde ich dieses Kaufhaus sicherlich nicht erneut aufsuchen, für gute Lebensmittel allerdings schon.

This used to be best departmental store for premium two folds cotton dress shirts in The Hague… the marks & sparks brand… it is also fully stocked with British groceries… brill

Nice store and decent staff. It had been ages since I visited a M&S store so I was’nt expecting anything special but I was amazed with the quallity and collection of clothing they had. Did not expect to buy anything but I got a nice blue sweater that was on sale.
The food section looked like any grocerystore but had allot more delicate foods to offer.

M&S in The Hague is such a welcome variety to the Dutch monopolies such as AH, Kruidvat and HEMA. Quality overall is better and so is the service.
I love to take some time to shop here and find British goodies, to fill up a shoppingbasket with the beautifully designed packages (teas, cookies, etc.).
The building is impressive, especially on the outside — all new!
Come early to shop at the Food-​section though, it gets pretty busy (understatement).
