Mr. Vijn is a old pro who has been repairing sewing machines for over 40 years. He used to run a bike shop and sewing machine repair business, but now he just repairs sewing machines. No job is too trivial for him and no machine is too old for him to work on. In fact he actually prefers to work on older machines, because they have less computer chips and more real machine parts.
He doesn’t speak that much English, but that’s not so necessary since a broken sewing machine is pretty self explanatory. He’s in the Amsterdam suburbs but he is easily reachable by a train and bus from Amsterdam. If you have a sewing machine in need of repair or TLC, I’d definitely give Mr. Vijn a call.
