Eetcafe Walkabout

I’ve eaten at Walkabout dozens of times over the last few years. Their menu may be broad but I can’t deny the reason is primarily the burger menu.
The burgers are big, tasty fare served with thick chips, big salads (both on the bun and on the side) and dips. The variations are many but my go to isn’t on the menu, it’s the gut busting double flaming burger, two of their huge patties served with a spicy ragout on top.
The wedges are also great, having had them on the side several times also.
The staff are nice and attentive. I’ve never had a bad experience with them and they let their sense of humour shine through.
The décor is nice, woody and cosy. The screens on the walls however tend to be distractions. There is a small patio outside with heaters for the brisker (read typical) Bredase summer nights.
