Very good food and a decent beer selection in a low key neighborhood kind of place. The train is nearby, so if you set outside you had better not have a problem with periodic noise. Very personable staff, good service.
We had the burger and the satay and both were excellent. Chips were especially good. 10⁄10 would go back.

A far-​from-​the-​madding-​crowd of Amsterdam place, nice for a little stop and enjoy a nice day out under the trees. Satisfying range of beers and a casual setting… Loved resting here and enjoyed being seconds away from the centre of ‘everything’ :)

had a nice glass of bourbon which I had never had and they offered a sample. Stuart had mustard green soup with dark brown bread – so glad. topped this off with a vegan curry with enough left over for another meal. most of all, there was a nice dog who kept me company.

Dinner service is good. Nothing fancy but rustic and simply yummy. Outside seating has small heat lamps, so it’s work for 30min drinks and snack. If you want to do dinner, you should make a reservation. They also have gluhwein in the winter.
Quick service. We were in a hurry, and we could get in and out for dinner in 45min. This is not common in Amsterdam.
