Found this place when I first visited 12 years ago and bought a great tote bag they had already made. Fast forward to this past winter when my dog decided it would be her chew toy… I am back in Amsterdam again for vacation and bought my new one today. Love this shop and couldn’t believe I was able to find it again! Wish you delivered to NYC!

Custom canvas bags — yes you heard me…
These guys will make you a simple weekend bag, shopping bag, or computer bag per your specifications. They only have three colors (black, maroon, and blue) of water resistant canvas, so selection is limited, but they do good work. Perhaps if you ordered your own canvas they could use that?
I had them design a work bag for me with custom internal zippered pockets and some other pockets. Turned out really nice and only took two weeks. I eyeballed the measurements, so it turned out a bit too big, but that was my fault. «Measure twice, cut once.» Whoops.
They usually also keep in stock a couple different standard duffel or shopping bags.
