Aus Amsterdam abzureisen ohne eine belgische Waffel zu essen… nicht mit mir! Und so trafen wir bei schönstem Regenwetter in das Sugar ‘N Ice. Achtung– gemütlich hinsetzen kann man sich hier nicht. Das machte aber nichts, statt unsere Waffel draußen nass werden zu lassen, haben wir kurz mit dem Ladeninhaber geschnackt. Im Winter hatte er um die 4 italienisch hausgemachte Eissorten anzubieten, wenn’s dann mal etwas wärmer wird, hat man auch mehrere zur Auswahl. Zusätzlich gibt es hier auch Milchshakes/​Sojashakes, Poffertjes und diese stroopwafeln zu kaufen.

Came by here looking for something sweet and local and was definitely not disappointed.
Hubby had the waffles and I had the Poffertjes with melted butter and sugar. Although delicious, I was turned off by the chunks of butter in my plate but I guess that’s what makes them yummy!
Very friendly staff but be prepared to wait a while if you order the Poffertjes .it takes some time to make them!

Poffertjes with powder sugar and melted butter! It is the best I’ve had! I will definitely make a stop here every time I come to Holland. Also the gelato is great! Great customer service and great desserts.
