We really liked this place. Originally we had reservations at a nearby Thai place but we arrived to some employees chasing a mammoth-​sized rat out of their restaurant. It happens, especially around here but we could not eat there thinking about what may have been dancing in the kitchen in the back.
So we walked around De Pijp looking for a a new option. Siriphon is where we landed. The service was attentive and nice and we really liked our food. Usually when you order vegetarian options at Thai places, they still use fish sauce and I hate the smell of it. My vegetarian curry was not fishy. So that was good. The décor isn’t anything special and the chairs were a bit old and uncomfortable but the food was good. We will return!

I had dinner here last night and really enjoyed it — the staff are super, super, super friendly and attentive, and the food came out quick and was delicious. I had the green curry with chicken and it came with the Thai aubergines and a few other vegetables. They bring the rice in a big pot and the food on hot plates. The jasmine tea is also very nice. We went at 6pm on a Friday night without a reservation and it was empty but by the time we left around 8 it was much busier. I have to disagree with another reviewer who said the décor is not good — it was fully Thai and I thought very nice. Good little neighborhood place.

Not a good option if you are looking for thai restaurant. Nothing is up to pat including the décor. Service was good but the taste wasn’t like thai at all.

Great Thai food! I enjoyed the red curry and the green curry. Ate here twice because not only was the food good, but they have the NICEST STAFF!!! Sweet, genuine, helpful staff at this restaurant.
And you know you’re in Holland when the garnish on your appetizers is real flowers :) The spring rolls came amidst a gerbera daisy. Great presentation, great food, great employees. It’s been 15 years since my last Amsterdam visit, but hopefully not another 15 until my next! Definitely gonna keep Siriphon on my list. Also the prices were reasonable.
