I really enjoy Simon Meijssen bread and pastries. If I can find my picture of the chicken muffin I will post it. They do really fun little pastries and breads for the holidays and that one was hilarious.
Everything is baked fresh daily and it’s in a pretty convenient location with a few tram stops right nearby if you’re just in the area. They have a spelt bread that I really like which is full of nuts and whole grains. Really tasty and healthy for you. The only drawback is the price is a little expensive.
I think they could really use another staff member in there because they are so busy most of the time that the one lady working isn’t so happy because she’s so stressed doing all the work herself. Other than that this is my go to bread shop. Doesn’t hurt that it’s also my closest bread shop.
