We accidentally left our European adapter in another hotel and had nothing to charge our devices. Thank goodness we made it here before they closed at 6pm to pick up a few adapters. Be careful that you look at the size of the adapter bc the oval shaped ones wouldn’t fit our apple devices so we had to shave/cut off the border to slip in our plugs.

Thanks to Becky D. for the tip. After she bought a super cool christmas gift from this shop, I needed to check it out for a gift for my man. He wanted to get more into electronics and is looking to build a tube amp for our apartment. Its a great vision, but I thought he should practice soldering first. I popped into this shop to see what they had by way of electronics kits, and they have a ton! Great for kids and adults looking to build things. Very friendly staff, lots in stock and will happily order something from a larger catalog if they don’t carry something in the store. Great find!

As an emigré with lots of electronics and audio gear, I arrived in the Netherlands prepared to work with adaptors and power converters to breath life into my various addictions. I stumbled across this place online, looking for actual electronics stores like Fry’s or Best Buy [see Media Markt, or for those needs]. Instead, what I found at Radio Rotor was a sort of Radio Shack run by members of the Living. Here you’ll get cables that will allow your dual-voltage gear to run as it was meant to run(i.e.; without sparks or thin grey smoke belching from the back); you’ll find speaker cable to match those cherished Polks you wrapped in silk for the journey; and you’ll find friendly, knowledgable, bilingual staff to guide you and listen to you while you brag about your system. This is a great shop, an absolute key resource, and the guys are awesome. Put Radio Rotor in your little black book.
