We found this place on Unilocal with great reviews, but were SO disappointed! The older gentleman running the restaurant — possibly the owner — was so kind and provided amazing service…(we were the only people in the restaurant) but it couldn’t make up for the terrible food. We ordered a soup(I think it was asparagus or potato with bacon) and it was ok. Could have used a bit more flavor or a little more salt(and I NEVER salt my food) but not bad. For my entrée, I ordered the cannelloni with pesto and vegetables. It was supposed to also have ricotta cheese, but if there was cheese in there, that’s news to me. There was pesto on top and a little parmesan cheese, but other than that there was no sauce… so it was a dry pasta tube full of barely-seasoned vegetables. Horrible. My husband ordered one of the specialties — the fish that was supposed to be pan-seared in a mustard crust on a bed of pasta. The fish was not pan seared and there was absolutely no mustard flavor. It was bland, soggy white fish with no redeeming qualities. It was placed on top of a bed of noodles with again a complete lack of sauce or flavor. Oh yeah, and we were the only ones in the restaurant, but all of our food was lukewarm. How is that possible?! The only positive? The noodles tasted fresh…

Everything you will eat here will be cooked to perfection. This restaurant had been here for 20+ years, and for good reason. Very friendly, nice atmosphere, great wine… So basically a very good experience.

Pete and I really enjoyed our meals here. We ordered an entrée to share so they made sure that we had an even number of prawn croquettes to share. Our mains were fantastic. Wine list good. Very friendly service

I really enjoyed this restaurant. At first the service was a bit slow but the place was packed. The boss had great recommendations for wine with each persons dish. I had the pasta special which was a cod and pasta. Let me say at first bite of the fish and I was in love! It was cooked to perfection, light and fluffy while still juicy. The pasta was homemade topped with a cheese sauce that was quite nice.
