Nice Thai place off Westerstraat. Went with a couple friends and the appetizers were great. Atmosphere is good, wait staff is friendly. I didn’t love my entrée(basil chicken) and that is the dish I measure my Thai restaurants with, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

I was very impressed. I was craving my Thai staple: Red Curry with Tofu and while in Amsterdam hoped we could discover a restaurant that fulfilled my culinary expectations. Well Kinnaree SURPASSED my expectations. 1. Service– Attentive and friendly 2. Price-Very reasonable! Definitely worth the money. 3. Wine list– Adequate. I selected a merlot from Spain and it was incredible! 4. Food– Presentation was drool worthy. My red curry was the BEST I have ever had! 5. Dessert– I highly recommend the chocolate lava cake. I wanted to lick the plate. All in all I fell in love and will definitely visit again the next time I am in Amsterdam!

Delicious and authentic Thai food. Love the complimentary basil, peanut and ginger appetizer. Ordered the vegetable glass noodle soup and vegetable green curry with rice. So fresh, flavorful and hearty.

Kinnaree is amazing. The stuff is friendly and attentive, always trying to accommodate your request. The food is great, tasty, well served, basically perfect. I think that is a bit more expensive than average but it is totally worth it, you will not regret! The selection of appetizers is the best ;)

I like their attention to detail when it comes to ingredients and freshness of their food. Prices are average for dining in central Amsterdam. Excellent flavor. As an extra bonus there seems to be a house special-starter that most people get. I can’t describe the ingredients but the flavor blew my mind! Please note, by modern Amsterdam standards the prices here are normal.(14⁄15 € for a main dish) But when it comes to good Thai food, cheaper does exist outside the city center.

Wow, I just went to Kinnaree for the first time last night and found the food to be the best Thai I’ve tried in Amsterdam. The service was excellent and the waitresses were there when we needed them and otherwise left us alone. I ate chicken sate and a red duck curry; flavours were beautiful and my mouth is watering as I write this. They also put out a lovely little amuse bouche on a leaf that was filled with coconut, ginger, onion and some other wonderful flavours. It’s definitely advisable to book ahead, but enjoy!

The best Thai I have ever tasted, ever. Everything was fresh, tender, and absolutely flavorful. need to flag this restaurant as a definite must visit next time I’m in Amsterdam. It was so darn good that I went there twice during my stay.

Went to Kinnaree with several colleagues for dinner. I had the Tom Ka Kai(chicken with coconut milk soup) that was really good. From there I had my favorite — green curry. The curry was good but I like Pathum better for the curry. This place has a great décor and if you are going out with a group of people, it’s good choice.
