Nice little spot for breakfast and coffee al fresco though the service can be painfully slow sometimes. The Pane Tostatos are the tastiest sandwiches on the menu, best eaten with the housemade ketchup. I ordered the Caprino, which was a bit like getting a cheese plate on a sandwich. It’s an almost comical amount of goat cheese topped with walnuts, balsamico and arugula and slid between two pieces of bread. Nothing life changing here but certainly a cozy and comfortable spot to enjoy a sunny Saturday afternoon.

This place is very nice and cozy. My husband and I come here everyday to drink our morning coffee and I can say this place is wonderful to start your day. They have good breakfast menu and staff is very friendly and nice. Surroundings are beautiful too. I love their mozzarella pesto tomato toasty with its special catch up. I would totally recommend this place for a coffee and snacks.

My neighbourhood coffee joint. Pleasant service and fragrant coffees. They do deliveries on their signature red bike. Try the café machiatto with a biscotti. Perfect for sitting outside on a sunny day with lovely views of the Dutch canals and crowds of locals and tourists. They should really open later than 5pm!

Just your average neighborhood coffee spot with good indoor and outdoor seating. They have a lot of different kinds of coffee drinks on the menu and my limited Dutch capabilities tell me they even have something for toddlers. The menu is quite big and they do lunch and dinner as well. I don’t know where they source their beans from, but there’s not really much to my cup of Americano. Will come again and again.

Tuesdaymorning, on my way to some appointments I stumbled upon this cozy place. The waitress was nice and cute, friendly and quick. My ordered coffee was steaming hot and perfectly made(my kind of strongness). It’s also a place for a quick lunch or breakfast! I will be back…

Painful: We strolled in, 4 females, a 4 month old and a stroller. Before I could lift out the baby from the buggy: «Please place the buggy in thát corner.» no smile/welcome/can I lend a hand. No, it was not busy. Just 8 people, including us 4. «Ready to order?» .just in, 2 minutes max! …sorry, no, we don’t know what we would like. «Need menu cards? They are right in front of you» (…whaaa? okay?) We ordered some hot drinks and less than 5 minutes later my baby started to «sing» and laugh. We really got stared out of this place. It sucks, cause their cakes are great! And it’s 20 from my new home…

I went to Tazzina for lunch a few days ago and was not impressed with the food or my latte. My latte was warm, not hot, and didn’t taste very good. I always order my lattes with soy milk, but I think theirs must have been extra vanilla flavored or sweetened and I didn’t like it. I also ordered a sandwich and was given the wrong one, but the waitress was really nice and made me the one I ordered after I brought it to her attention. The sandwich was also not hot, just warm. My boyfriend wanted a panini and he was told he should order a tosti because it’s the same thing. A tosti is like a grilled cheese sandwich that you can find here in any café or bar, not a panini. The shop was really nice inside and they have outdoor seating in the front and back of the store. They also serve high tea. Overall, food not great or hot, drinks not great or hot either, ambiance was super cute and the waitresses were nice. Plus we bought bike drink holders here too.

I stumbled upon this gem, while cruising down the Bilderdijk when my mom was in town. We both agreed, Tazzina has some damn good coffee. She was finishing up a Europe work trip and even said ‘this may be the best coffee I’ve had on my entire trip’. The food here is also wonderful. Their panini are delicious and way better than any broodje I have had yet in Amsterdam(eek! Is that blasphemy?). Their salad with goat cheese is lovely and they’ll even heat up the cheese if you request it warm. The mini pizzas are nice as well. very fresh ingredients. The service is friendly. My only complaint is the no computer policy. One day, I ordered a sandwich and opened my laptop to get some work done without wifi. There was no one in the restaurant(it was mid day on a weekday) and I was told I couldn’t use my laptop. I understand that as a policy on weekends, but during off hours it seems a bit strange. Regardless, I have been back multiple times and continue to enjoy the food and drink! You should, too!

Great espresso(Kimbo) served perfectly in the right tazzina da caffe! Get there for brunch and enjoy the high tea experience. TOP for me were the mozzarella di bufala sandwiches and the mackerel ones!!! Great terrace on the street and great indoor. Spacious and friendly laid back atmosphere… what you need to enjoy your coffee!

This little corner café is a happy stop for any of the following reasons: a) friendly service b) Memorable chai tea– well blended and spiced, one of the best I’ve ever had c) excellent people watching– we saw a wedding party take photos on the bridge d) tasty sandwiches There’s not much room to maneuver inside so if it’s busy, don’t expect to be super comfortable with a big group or a bunch of shopping bags. And, they only take cash. The waitress actually said just come back later when we didn’t have enough euros. Definitely not NYC! Note: the nearest ATM is an ING several blocks away.

Espresso and paninis are the name of the game here. Both are good and it’s worth a stop if you on the Brouwersgracht but I would not make a special trip here. Open for breakfast and lunch, the menu is pretty limited but if you want a panini you will probably find something to satisfy your craving.
