They do threading here, which is hard to find elsewhere in Amsterdam! Pretty expensive for what you get compared to what I spend in the US. Last time I went for upper lip and eyebrows it’s over 30 euros

I think I’ve found my go-to wax salon in Amsterdam. Wax Angel Pearl did a good job and I’m going back here simply because they know what they’re doing and disappointment isn’t on the cards for the customer. Definitely recommend !

Their ‘brazilian technique’ ripped my skin off! AVOID First of all, this review comes from a frequent brazilian ‘waxer’. I had brazilian waxing performed dozens of times, usually in London. Since I was in Amsterdam I thought I’d try this studio which had some decent reviews… Everything seemed nice and friendly, until their ‘waxing angel’ ripped my genital area skin off(about 1−2cm). I did feel an excruciating pain, but she carried on. Upon pointing the blood to her, she just dusted some talc powder on top of the wound and finished off the job! No offer of any kind of first-aid or medication, and no qualified first-aid attendant on site. It seemed like a sure infection, not to mention the pain and discomfort. When I asked for antiseptic ointment and gauze instead to apply to the wound, the response was that they didn’t have any and that I could bring them the pharmacy bill. The salon did offer a 10−20% discount, but that didn’t matter. I ended up visiting a doctor AND the pharmacy. Total cost: 80EUR on top of the waxing. For your own health, AVOID! Instead, please visit a brazilian waxing salon with a first-aid kit and properly trained staff.

Love this place. Their«Wax Angels» are friendly and the greet staff are as well. I walked in for an armpit wax and it was funny because the translation from English to Dutch for underarm is different. They took the time to explain it to me and booked me for an appointment with less than a :20 minute wait. While I waited I was offered coffee, tea or water. The waiting area was very quiet and many of the patrons read quietly while sipping on a refreshing drink. Once I was taken back to the wax room, I noticed it to be very clean. I loved that they used hard wax and a soothing after wax crème with a great smell. I loved Delete from the time I walked in until the time I left. This is where a girl wants to go for a nice wax job. Note: They don’t accept cash for any services(unless it’s a tip). You can however use Visa, Mastercard and Pin.

Adding more stars for the brows waxing. This is my new go-to place for facial services. The brows are still in form after many days. Impressive.

The best waxing salon I have experienced in Amsterdam. The staff is professional and they know what they do. The«waxing angels» have been properly trained and wax perfectly. They have a very handy reservation system online where you can choose your treatments and time. Budget is normal, in Holland waxing is still quite expensive compare to anywhere else in Europe … but probably because its quite rare to find a good Waxing beautician. I would definitely recommend this place, and one more star would be given it it was just a bit cheaper;-)
