Cozy yarn shop, seemed to be predominantly Rowan, but I did snag some lovely Araucania(sp?) fingering. Prices comparable to what I’m used to in the US. Helpful(without being pushy) shop attendant. Definitely worth a visit if you buy yarn as your travel souvenir :)

Very cute! They carry Rowan’s full line and have some nice alpaca blends as well. The woman working was really pleasant and happily found yarn all in one dye lot for me. If I lived in Amsterdam, I’d definitely be a regular here.

Really cute knitting store that you can easily miss. Just blink and you won’t even see it as you walk buy. Inside is small but stuffed with great yarns. I like that they stock nice, plush materials and don’t really have many of the cheesy, gimmicky kinds. Alpaca, cashmere, and cotton galore! That means that most of the yarns here are a bit expensive, but you’ll love whatever you make with these types of materials. They also have a great variety of colors. They have every kind of needle you could need, including tapestry, sewing, and knitting. The women working inside were very knowledgeable about their products and proficient in English as well.
