A tiny bit of a tourist trap, even though staff were very friendly food wasn’t great and for the price too, the location however is wonderful! If it’s sunny, sit outside and enjoy the weather, and stick with the safest menu items.

Wonderful Thai food at a very reasonable price. This the first place that offered us tap water as an option, probably should have know but never researched it as an option. The tap water tasted just fine. We ordered the coconut shrimp curry and we were pleasantly surprised at the amount of and the size of the shrimps. The restaurant is within a restaurant row area but don’t let that scare you.

Man kann draussen sitzen wenn’s das Wetter erlaubt und herrlich Leute beobachten.
Green Curry ist mein favorite!
Drinnen herrscht typische Thai atmo– karger Kitsch– aber irgendwie gemütlich!

The appetizers and food here were amazing. The ambiance is trendy and busy. The dining areas are pretty roomy but the tables are a little close. I liked it’s vibrant energy. The open kitchen is a cool touch and the service is friendly.
Will be back soon to try out the outdoor dining.

Das Chao Phraya bietet thailändische Küche direkt am Neumarkt in Amsterdam. Das Schöné ist, man kann draussen sitzen und sich das Treiben anschauen. Wir fanden es entsprechend gut, in der Sonne was essen zu können.
Preis/​Leistung war okay.
