Burger Bar

Burgers were huge if you added a lot to it. The staff were super friendly and jokesters — which was fun! I had the most simple burger which was filling but it didn’t taste like anything too special. Condiments are additional costs — i.e. ketchup :(they serve beers and soft drinks here as well. A nice spot to drop by for quick food.

Burgers are pretty good. Friendly staff. Would def come back.
Had the Angus burger snd my buddy had phylly cheesesteak. Both too notch.
Fries with blue cheese pretty good too. Truffle fries, not so much

This is my second favorite Burger Bar location. They have very limited seating, but if you can get a seat at the bar it’s cozy place to eat while watching them make food. It’s a madhouse trying to get a burger here at lunch time, with long lines and impatient staff, and they don’t let you order over the phone so they’re kind of a pain in the butt to order from in general.
According to their website they have more menu items at this location, but some things are not available anymore, like the hot wings for example, and you won’t know it until you try to order them and they tell you they’re not available. Some of the other alternative items are not so good, like the onion rings, which are sad and tasteless, so I’d stick with the main menu items if you want to make sure to get the good stuff.
All those problems aside, they have a great burger and fries. I highly recommend them if you have a burger craving and are in the neighborhood.

Finally I made it to Burger Bar, after hearing it talked up by scores of people in Amsterdam. I work in a kind of posh industry, so it always intrigued me that so many of my coworkers would recommend a seedy fast-​food joint in the heart of tourist Amsterdam. But they were right. The burgers here are top-​notch. I had a burger with avocado and it was delicious, my friend had the chicken burger and raved about her fries.
The service sucks though. It goes without saying that the atmosphere is plastic, fluorescent and loud, but they also just plainly don’t listen to you. I got charged twice, so my 12 euro meal turned into a 24 euro meal. And I asked for no bun which… didn’t happen.
So taking all that into consideration, and the fact that they still are nowhere near as amazing as The Butcher, I probably won’t return. But it’s a good place if you’re in the center and looking for a great, and affordable, meal.

Lecker, gute Burger mit allem drauf, was man sich denken kann. Die Burgen kann man sich an der Theke selbst zusammen stellen und schmecken echt lecker. Am Abend ist der Laden immer brechend voll. ich empfehle am frühen Abend vorbei zu kommen, da hat man Chancen seinen Burgen im Sitzen zu genießen.

I initially went here with a friend to have a burger but the menu at this location has more to offer than the other locations. So on a whim since it had been awhile I decided to try the angus rib eye steak, medium rare. With that I ordered fries and a small caesar salad that came with tomatoes and anchovies. For a small salad it was fairly good sized and the best caesar salad I’ve had in awhile.
The steak came first and was actually medium rare, tender and tasted great. Frankly, I’d expected less but was more than glad to get more. Along with the steak came a small bowl of coleslaw. It was actually some very tasty coleslaw at that. To top it all off I ordered a beer to go along with the meal.
Now this turned out to be a good sized meal that I was actually enjoying. I say that with relish as a good meal is a very nice treat after so many «ho hum ones». They also serve a steak sandwich at this location that I’ll have to come back and try. After that I’ll have to go back and maybe try a burger.
The location is a busy one so there’s lots of people coming and going most of the time. Even so there’s still seating available. Lastly, they’re dog friendly. Woohoo!

You can never go wrong with the Burger Bar. Lots of different meats and toppings to choose from. I went with egg, grilled onion, and avocado on a cheese burger. You just can’t go wrong! The egg was perfectly runny too, just how I like it.

It was my third time at Burger Bar (second at Warmoestraat), and this visit, like the previous ones, was really worth the price. It is quite common to hear or read that Amsterdam burgers are really good and this place is good example of this.
First, you have to order the kind of meat you prefer (including chicken, in case you dont like beef), then the toppings, and finally fries with or without sauce. It is easy to make up your mind: a moderate set of options, but wide enough to accommodate most of the tastes :). Most of the times you have to share the table with more people, but this seems rather typical here in Amsterdam. The burger is really good, so are the toppings. I like the fries buy frankly I think that one portion and one sauce could fit two people, so that is my advice: share the fries and especially the sauce.
The point that I like least: the door is always open and It makes a bit uncomfortable if you happen to sit close to the entry.
Tip: There are another Burger Bar in a ten-​minute walk from here that is thought to take the burger away. Actually, you can also have the burger there but is really small.

As a frequent burger loving visitor to Amsterdam I had to check this place out!
I had the 200 gram black angus, blue cheese, fried onions, The place lives up to the hype, the burger was amazing, easily the best I’ve ever had, the bun was nicely toasted and the burger was cooked perfectly.
Don’t think I’ve ever wolfed a burger so fast, I was like a fiend
Only thing is the fries, they’re a little bit boring and tbh they could have been a lot better! Little bit dry and over cooked, I’m sure I just got a bad portion.
Can’t wait to go back again :)

Un bar à burger avec des produits savoureux et de bonne qualité où l’on compose son burger: on sélectionne sa viande, sa taille de burger ainsi que les aliments qu’on veut rajouter aux aliments de base. Les frites maisons sont accompagnées d’un large choix de sauce.
Le tout s’est révélé succulent pour un rapport qualité /​prix très intéressant.

The manager showed me how they grind the meat fresh every morning. They should do a better job of marketing that fact because that’s unusual for a fast food place. So if you want a big ass burger made from quality meat, this is the place.

Had the black angus burger with grilled onions, cheddar cheese and jalapeños
Verdict: it’s big, it’s good BUT the meat was a bit dry, could be a bit more spicy but the HP sauce made up for that. All in all good but I’ve had better…

If you are lucky enough to live in a country that is home to a Burger Bar, than I am jealous. If you are not, then start packing!
I came here shortly after the craziness of NYE had died down on January 1^st and wow what a meal to ring in the new year! Some have New Year’s resolutions of healthy diets, which is why I decided to go with Wagyu beef instead, cooked medium rare with cheddar cheese and a side of frites.
Well boys and girls, all 270 grams of that burger down to the last bite was absolutely delicious and can go down as one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. As a matter of fact, I’ve been dreaming of the Burger Bar every night since I’ve been back in the states.
So at the end of the day (or during or after midnight) you can’t go wrong with the Burger Bar. So you may be paying a few extra euro for the Wagyu beef and place your order, and be able to walk around the entire city, and come back just in time for your order to be up, but damn is that a tasty burger!

As far as cheap, easy eats go, this place isn’t too bad. The burger were of decent quality, the place was clean and the prices were reasonable. It’s a little slower than one might expect, but it’s new and I’ll give it time before holding that against them.
