Walked in on a Friday night to live music(a guy and his guitar). He was singing in Portuguese and it was nice. The place is quite small and cozy. I can imagine that if we were sitting closer to the front the music might be a little loud to have a conversation with your date. I got a seafood stoofpot(similar to clay pot dishes). It came with rice and a separate dish your are supposed to use to mix the stew/soup and rice. It also came with a side of a sauce, which the waitress warned was spicy. I didn’t think it was spicy at all(I can handle heat better than avg dutch/Europeans, but I’m avg for an east asian). My date got the picanha. He said it was OK, but it wasn’t really picanha. The desserts were not so good. Crème brûlée was flan with syrup/caramel(it was not crispy, they didn’t fire the sugar), my tapioca pudding was meh. I might come here again bc I live so close to it, and if I want a change of pace.

Food average to Ok, but the owner and Chef is super rude and service quite bad… Not really Brazilian but a watered down version of Brazilian food. As we walked he basically told us that we had to choose between a few dishes that he was not going to make full menu available and if we didn’t like we could leave. No thank you or good night and an angry face all night long First and last time… don’t waste your time or money here there are better options for Brazilian food in Amsterdam
