The food was good. Small portions, slightly expensive, but tasty creations. The food does take a long time to come out, and the service is friendly but could be more attentive(I still struggle with this being an American now in the Netherlands). We each ordered two plates. The first plates came out in «ok» time, the second took awhile(or maybe our palettes were peaked by the first plate, so it only seemed like we waited longer for the second). From getting the menus to the end of the second course/plate, it took about 2 hours. We asked for the desserts to come out quicker and it did. I think pop-up restaurants take longer to prepare the food because the kitchens are not designed as efficiently as permanent restaurants(also experienced long wait on food preparation in Citroen pop-up restaurant). The desserts were not on par with the rest of the food. They were just ok.

I never had such a bad service in a restaurant. We booked with a big group for lunch, we had to order in advance the plates but when we were there we had to wait 30 min for the food(I guess it’s not too complicated make salads and sandwiches) and the restaurant was almost empty. In the meantime we order some fresh juices that in the end were in a glass bottle, we ask for the fresh juice and the waiter told us in a funny tone… You don’t read Dutch, so that’s why you didn’t understand it(we were a mixed group of Dutch and expats) and she left. When the food arrived we missed one plate and they brought the wrong one, we told the waiter and she said ‘no this is the good one is on the list, and then she said well I’m going to leave it here because anyway you are gonna pay for it’ … What a comment! I think they should invest the money of the chef to give some politeness course to the staff! The food… Too expensive for what you get.
