The most beautiful café in Amsterdam! Quiet and friendly atmosphere, great breakfasts and coffee. Free wifi and great views of the canal.

I had to edit my review, unfortunately. Truly saddens me to be edit my review but this is not the first time. This is my favourite store of this chain but this is the slowest service I ever had in a store of this chain. If they are busy, be prepared to wait forever or even have to go inside to order. I sat outside for 15 min and no service. I tried to move to a table that was closer, and still no service. The person who took my previous seat got service and I was still waiting. Other people also got service around me(pretty slow too) The whole staff is new since they did a revamp and they seem very unprepared to me, both as baristas and waiters. I know being a waiter is a tiring job but people waiting are paying costumes, waiting a little bit is ok but giving up and going home is different. There was a huge line inside with people who seemed as annoyed as me, and I gave up siting outside in the sun of a sunny day(rare thing here) and just ordered a takeaway coffee to have at home. This is such a shame because the owner is friendly and welcoming to costumes and they finally have a milk alternative that is not soy! I hope this gets better because this is my favourite b&b and they put a lot more tables outside, which I love. But I think there are too many seats for little staff. I know service in Amsterdam is normally suuuuper slow and sometimes even rude, but I come from a place that waiters give great service and fast, and get paid a lot less! Old review: Fresh bagels! Pretty much standard quality just like the other locations of this chain. Except that the staff here is specially friendly and the service is very good too :) the manager is super friendly and the location is very pleasant, with outside seating with a view to the channel.

The food was excellent. The cappuccino was mild and delicious. Finished with fresh juice. Worth short journey on tram from central station.

Nice to have a café in this area. I ride past every morning for work and just this morning I stopped in as a way of getting out of the snowy wetness that was seriously dampening my day(hardy har har). I had a cappuccino and warmed up while the sun poked its way out of the clouds. B&B always serve up a nice cappuccino. Their beans are definitely great and what I love about this place is a lazy weekend morning bagel breakfast. It always reminds me of home. Good seating with a nice view of the water, toO!

Firstly, I must say that, being from New York, I’ve come to terms with the fact that I’ll forever be disappointed when I get a bagel anywhere outside NYC. The bagel sandwich I got here was bearable. The bagel itself crumbled as I bit into it but so is life, and the sandwich was not very warm but I won’t jump in the canal about that. But I won’t go back for food because the sandwich was so tiny. Just so… tiny. So after paying some 7EUR here I went back to my office and ate lunch as the«sandwich» was more like an appetizer. The service was good though. Very nice and friendly people. Can’t say I’ll go back for food, though, as for me it’s not worth it.

It does what it says on the tin. Bagels and beans, coffee beans that is. Order at the counter or table service. Despite being a café rather than restaurant, some of the best service we had in Amsterdam. We came twice during our stay, I couldn’t fault it. The coffee and fruit juices were good. The muffins were lovely and moist and the bagels offered a variety of options to suit any pallet. Believe me, I’m the fussy one of the group and even I had multiple options. Would recommend over a hotel breakfast any day.

This location is cozy and looks out onto the water so you have a nice relaxing view if you decide to eat in the store/restaurant. You have the option of ordering something to go or sitting down and having your order taken by a waitress, restaurant style. They have a limited selection of bagels and toppings compared to American bagel places, but everything they serve here is still delicious. My favorite bagel combo is the avocado and sun-dried tomato cream cheese spread on a sun-dried tomato bagel. Om nom nom! But they also have various bagels smothered in cheese that I have experimented with, and a mackerel filled bagel that repulses me but which my Dutch husband loves. Check out all their options on their website’s menu. Their overall selection of food and drink, especially teas, is pretty big. You can also order online through their website and pick up your order at the store if you want to save time and/or limit your interactions with people.
