Very reasonable prices(ex. 8 euro) for good quality food. I ordered a salmon/sour crème/capers/lettuce/tomato bagel sandwich which I really enjoyed. Free wi-fi The only thing is that it gets pretty crowded so service is a bit slower(ex. it took me 10 – 15 minutes to pay when I was in a rush).

I was spending the day alone in Amsterdam and wanted a low key place to have a light lunch. I chose Bagels & Beans because it was nearby and sounded easy. When I came in, I was not sure what to do. Do I seat myself, do I order at the counter, etc? I finally decided to sit down near a window. I noticed the waitresses were taking orders from others and seemed to be ignoring me. Was I supposed to wait to be seated? After probably 15 mins, someone came to take my order. I was rather disappointed in this long wait. I had the tuna melt bagel and a chai tea latte. I was surprised when the tea came in a tall glass and of course was tall. I am used to hot tea being served in a mug. Both were yummy! The service did not get much better and I had to walk to the counter to get their attention to pay. Food was good, service needs to improve.
