Pathé Unlimited is a Dutch Movies subscription. You pay a fix amount per month and you have access to every Pathé Theater all over Holland. Very very nice and quite good if you go tot he movies at least 3 times a month. Now also the GOLD version, a bit more expensive, which lets you go to IMAX and 3D movies. With the basic Unlimited version you just go to normal movies. no 3D or IMAX.
You can book the tickets on line and pick them up at the automatic kiosks by the theaters by scanning your card.
Only issue is that they are very rigid. Pick up is between one hour and 30 minutes before show starts. If you picked up ticket and you change your mind, even if it is UNLIMITED, you need to wait 1 and half hour before picking up a ticket for another show… that clashes a bit with the unlimited wording. does it?
If you get to be a Gold Member (Shagedelich) then you also receive as freebie the 3D glasses.
Still some glitches, but it is a very good system. Check the website for all the latest prices, info and movie theaters… in Amsterdam there are quite a lot.
