Dra. Shirley Baker

I wanted to buy authentic Lumineers® veneers from Dr. Shirley Baker at the Tijuana Clinic For Cosmetic Dentistry (www.tccdentistry.com), which is offered there at a decent price - USD680 per unit - minus a 5% discount if I pay cash in US Dollars on the first visit (the full amount). At first Dr. Baker's staff - Craig and Lizette - at this clinic replied to my emails very fast at all times with many great answers to many of my questions - but now when I am ready to make appointments and spend thousands of dollars at their clinic they suddenly just stopped answering my emails. I have now sent them six email reminders in order to get appointments but I no longer get any replies back. I have now actually given up. I first chose this clinic for two reasons: I read that it had been in business for many years and that it had treated lots of patients and is thus very well established in TJ, and also because it was the only dental clinic that I could find in all of Mexico that offers the truly authentic Lumineers® from the DenMat Lab. Moreover, I also contacted the DenMat Lab itself - and in case of ordering Lumineers from this clinic the DenMat Lab merely instructed me to make sure that I do obtain the original "Lumineers DenMat Box" in which the Lumineers are sent from the Lab, as well as the "DenMat Lumineers Certificate of Authenticity" (just as a general precaution). My first impression of this clinic was thus very good, but now I do feel disappointed because I am not getting any appointments and my emails are left unanswered, and I cannot understand why I am suddenly being ignored. Are they simply too busy or did they not like that I asked them for the “Lumineers DenMat Box" and the "DenMat Lumineers Certificate of Authenticity" (as I was instructed by the DenMat Lab)? If Dr. Shirley Baker or her staff (Craig or Lizette) happen to read this review, please send me an email and book two appointments for me as requested in my emails. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Baker for years and we have always been very satisfied with her work. She is very knowledgeable, the office is sparkling clean and her equipment is state of the art. When we needed a periodontist or an oral surgeon they came to her office and again they did a great job. We first started to walk across the border and Manny, a yellow cab driver, would meet us and drive us to the office. Dr. Baker provides this free of charge. After a while we started to drive straight to her office as it is very easy to get there. There is a secure parking garage under the building. Her office gave us a medical pass to cross the border in our car to get back to San Diego. The border wait with the medical pass recently has been pretty fast. I feel fortunate that we found Dr. Baker. She saved us $$ and we are very happy with the care provided.

I thought I had struck gold when I found this dentist! I needed RC and crowns 3 crowns. After 6 visits and THOUSANDS of $$$$ later I ended up having a RC on the same tooth 3 TIMES! Which they charged me for! They eneded up extracting my tooth! And each remaining crown has to be replaced ! One came off while flossing just 6 months later and the other has to be removed as its a poor fit a bacteria is seeping in! And if i could get any worse,!!! I got a herpe on my lip after my 5^th visit!!! I couldn’t beleive it!
Please please please do not use this practice ! They are very nice at the beginning, I thought I was so lucky to Of found them. Until I began to complain and they became very passive aggressive with me. And said. Well come back again and we will see People I can’t stress this enough Please
Save your money if you can, and stay away from here. I was told «usually if you pay cheep you pay twice !»
My mouth and bank account is now such a mess because of this pesticides.
