I’m really into photography and scoured the internets for good, affordable wedding photographers. I was shocked to see what poor technique passes for insane prices once the word wedding comes up. Not true with Alex.
When I found Alex’s portfolio, you can tell right away his skill at using light properly. Most wedding photographers show you their best posed pics in perfect flat clouded daylight, but the wedding is fast-​moving, most likely in sunlight and indoors — both much more challenging. Pro-​tip: Ask them by email for those photos by the way. Alex’s shots show how well he can handle those conditions.
We signed him up to do ours and when my fiancé’s brother needed someone, he went with Alex as well. Alex did both my and my brother-​in-​laws weddings in California. It was great to get the opportunity to see Alex in action at their wedding since it preceded ours.
He is a nice, genuine person that is easy to work with.
He was also punctual, professional, and turned the photos around very quickly.
So good to work with, that our wedding planner (who had been planning weddings for 6 yrs in San Diego) decided to use him for her wedding!

Alex did our engagement photos and day of the wedding, from getting ready all the way to the last dance of the night. First, I should start by saying that we were so happy to see that he was able to capture all of our special moments in a very unique and beautiful way. None of the typical awkward posing kind of photos, but very natural and candid moments that really captured who we are together and the beautiful memories with our family and friends. He is professional but also super down to earth going above and beyond several times during the day. I highly recommend him he’s a super cool guy! ;)
